Lincoln Landing Renovation

Located in the heart of Lockport, Illinois, Lincoln Landing attributes its features to Abraham Lincoln — the focal point of the park is a statue of Lincoln himself, surrounded by carefully placed blocks of limestone. Similar blocks are set around the park and the stairs leading down toward the river. Aside from the stone on the river stairs and on the south side of 9th Street, the remaining stone was removed and replaced with new stone by crane to ensure precise placement.
