Home to Avenir Apartments, 730 Milwaukee is one of the buildings that stands out from the rest of River West. It blends with the brick buildings around it while standing out in its own ways: the granite base that encompasses the building, and the projections and returns at the structural piers and windows. A project that posed difficult logistical questions during construction — and came out a modern masterpiece for the neighborhood.
